QB commit takes in I-State practice

With preseason camp underway, Iowa State quarterback commit Devon Moore was excited to make his way to Ames to see how the offense will operate with the new coaching staff on board.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound rising senior from Waterloo (Iowa) West, who committed to the Cyclones shortly after Campbell arrived in town last November, said he was particularly impressed with how players at his future position worked.

The quarterback commit said he also got some time to meet with Campbell a couple times during the day.

In order to get an even better feel for the Cyclones, Moore said he plans to be a frequent visitor this fall. He's planning to take an official visit sometime in January.
