Pre-season decision likely for TE

The Cyclones have recruited a three-star Class of 2017 tight end from the state of Oklahoma hard for much of this year, and finally got the prospect on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit.

Jenks rising senior Reese Leitao said he specifically enjoyed his time with lead recruiter Alex Golesh and Cyclone head coach Matt Campbell. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Leitao, who also has Power-5 offers from the likes of Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Purdue, said his visit with Campbell to wrap things up on Saturday left a lasting impression.

Leitao said he's still working on making a late-summer commitment.
