OL Campbell reflects on ISU visit

Iowa State hosted an offensive lineman from the Ohio high school ranks this weekend, who also happens to be friends with another big man from the state of Missouri that made the trek to Ames.

Lewis Center Olentangy’s Luke Campbell had been committed to Purdue since mid-June, but opted to take a visit to Iowa State since with former Boilermaker verbal Dylan Powell.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Campbell said he liked a number of aspects of the Iowa State program, which he will be evaluating seriously in the coming weeks.

The 25th-ranked player in the state of Ohio and 44th-ranked overall at his position nationally, Campbell is set for another official visit to a Power-5 school next weekend.
