Official visit recap: RB Toa Taua

A California running back recruit's first visit to Iowa State was capped off with his seeing the team up close and personal during a bowl practice Sunday afternoon.

5-foot-10, 195-pound Toa Taua, who is listed in the Rivals database as a linebacker, would move to the offensive side of the ball if he ends up a Cyclone. And that’s just fine with him, seeing what they have done at the position.

Lompoc senior Toa Taua has had a Cyclone offer for several months, but was making his first visit of any kind to Ames.

The senior also has P5 offers from Arizona State, California, Colorado and Washington State.

For more on Taua's official visit and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
