It's been several months since a Florida defensive back committed to the Cyclones, so his official visit this past weekend was more about enjoying the place that will be his future home.

St. Petersburg senior Anthony Johnson said he liked spending time with the other classmates on campus over the weekend.

Since the Cyclones are in bowl preparation mode, practicing on the weekends between now and the time they depart for Memphis, the staff was able to showcase that aspect of the program to Johnson and others.

Johnson said he is planning to sign with the Cyclones later this month.
