No waver in Vaughn's I-State commitment

Since choosing the Cyclones over the summer, a Georgia prep linebacker has kept close tabs on his future school and likes what he's hearing from coaches and players.

Tucker (Ga.) senior Gerry Vaughn is talking to his area recruiter Tyson Veidt, as well as head coach Matt Campbell. He also speaks frequently with current Cyclone linebacker Willie Harvey, who he met during an unofficial visit this summer.

As one of the longer-standing members of ISU’s class that grew to 15 on Monday with the addition of Oklahoma wide receiver Sean Shaw, Vaughn said he’s doing what he can to bring in future teammates.

On the field this year, Vaughn has become a threat on the offensive side of the ball in addition to his usual spot on defense.

For more on Vaughn's senior season and what he's hearing from the Cyclones, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
