New I-State offer for soph WR

A high school sophomore received an offer during an unofficial visit to check out spring practice, and feels that Iowa State would be a good destination for him if he signs there in the Class of 2019.

St. Louis (Mo.) Francis Howell North’s Maurice Massey, who also has offers from Iowa and Boston College to go along with interest from Arkansas and Purdue, said he enjoyed his stop in Ames and felt he clicked with the current and future players.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound Massey said he liked watching the Cyclones’ group of receivers, and that he would be a good addition to the mix. He also met with head coach Matt Campbell.

Massey said he would like to take another visit to I-State in the near future.

For more on Massey's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
