Nebr. TE likes Cyclone future plans
One of the top tight end targets on Iowa State's wish list for 2017 is a prospect from the state of Nebraska.
Aurora standout junior Austin Allen has consistently heard from Matt Campbell’s staff and is in the process of figuring out a date for an unofficial visit.
The 6-foot-8, 225-pound Allen said that trip to Ames could be as early as this weekend as his AAU basketball team, the Nebraska Bison, is in Ankeny competing in a tournament.
Allen said the coaches are selling him on the fact that he could factor into the offense early, given its need for numbers at the position.
