Mo. CB still wants to visit ISU

Iowa State continues to recruit a Class of 2019 prospect from the state of Missouri and would like to finally land him on an unofficial visit in the coming months.

O’Fallon John Burroughs senior Derrick Miller had tried to take in a game at Jack Trice Stadium this fall, but instead settled for watching the Cyclones on TV. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound cornerback has been impressed.

A three-star prospect with a Rivals rating of 5.6, Miller said he’s been in Ames in the past but hasn’t gotten the full tour like he wants to. He hopes that will be this winter sometime.

Throughout the recruiting process, a pair of ISU coaches has recruited Miller. The junior defender said he likes what the assistants have been sharing about the program.

For more on Miller's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
