La. WR with NFL sibling has ISU offer

The Cyclones are one of two Power-5 offers for a Class of 2018 slot wide receiver from the Louisiana, who helped his team to a Class 3A state championship this past season.

Lutcher junior Gregory Clayton, the younger brother of former LSU standout and current Miami Dolphin Jarvis Landry, said he’s hearing a lot from the Cyclones.

The 5-foot-9, 172-pound Clayton also has a Power-5 offer from Purdue to go with other programs such as South Alabama, Louisiana-Lafayette, Tulane, McNeese State and Army.

An unofficial visit during the summer months is a possibility for Clayton, who said he only knows a little bit about the I-State program to this point.

For more on Clayton's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
