KC-area DB plans return visit to Iowa State

A Kansas City-area junior defensive back took an unofficial visit to Iowa State last month and said he's got another trip planned for this football season.

Overland Park St. Thomas Aquinas safety Jayden Russell has an offer from the Cyclones and got his first glimpse of the campus during an unofficial visit on July 30th.

Russell is from the same high school program that produced 2017 Cyclone recruit Angel Dominguez. The incoming freshman has given plenty of feedback to Russell.

In addition to his ISU offer, Russell has Power-5 offers from Kansas and Kansas State, along with G5 program Toledo.
