KC area ATH plans I-State visit

Iowa State was out recruiting in the Kansas City area on Monday afternoon and one of the recruits on the visit list was a Class of 2018 standout from a perennial power.

Lee’s Summit West two-way standout Mario Goodrich said he was encouraged to see running backs coach Lou Ayeni at his school yesterday.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound junior, who also has an offer from Missouri to go along with interest from Cincinnati, Florida State and Purdue, would be ticketed to the defensive side of the ball if he inks with the Cyclones in February of 2018.

Goodrich says he hasn’t done much research on the I-State program, but is ready to find out more on his visit for the Kansas State game on October 29th.
