ISU visit upcoming for Wisc. ATH

Although Iowa State has yet to offer, a Wisconsin prep athlete is intrigued by what he's heard from a brother who attended the university as a student. The 2019 prospect will be taking an unofficial visit to Ames this weekend.

Racine St. Catherine’s junior Da’Shaun Brown will be on hand for the Cyclones’ hoops game on Saturday and said he’s looking forward to discovering more about a football program he’s not too familiar with.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Brown is a three-star recruit that’s pushing for an extra star, as he has a 5.7 Rivals rating. His team’s starting quarterback and cornerback, Brown is the 36th-ranked athlete nationally in the 2019 class.

Brown currently has offers from Iowa and Wisconsin, to go along with interest from several other major programs in the Midwest.

For more on Brown's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
