ISU visit in the works for 3-star TE

Thanks to the coaching staff's steady pursuit of a tight end from the state of Oklahoma, Iowa State may soon land the prospect for an official visit.

Iowa State assistant coach Alex Golesh was in-school recently with Jenks junior Reese Leitao last week. Now, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Leitao says he’s now in the process of returning the favor with an unofficial visit to Ames.

I-State has been diligent in its pursuit of Leitao, as the three-star recruit says coaches have remained in steady contact throughout the process.

Duke, Illinois, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Purdue are also Power-5 programs that have offered Leitao.

For more on Leitao's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
