ISU offer pleasant surprise for Barnhart
Although a Michigan prep offensive tackle didn't know much about the Cyclones growing up, he's finding out more on the program after picking up an offer last month.
Paw Paw Class of 2019 big man Karsen Barnhart said the Cyclones offered him out of the blue during an in-school visit in the December recruiting period.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Barnhart also has a P5 offer from Indiana, to go along with three directional G5 schools in-state Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan.
An unofficial visit in the coming months could be in the works for Barnhart, who said he's looking forward to getting down to Ames for a Junior Day.
