ISU offer Campbell having strong jr. year

The Cyclones' victory at third-ranked Oklahoma over the weekend certainly caught the eye of an in-state prospect in the Class of 2019, but then again, so has pretty much everything the coaching staff has done.

Cedar Falls junior Jack Campbell, who has had an Iowa State offer since early this summer and participated in a Saturday Night Lights camp in Ames, said he’s continues to hear a lot from members of the coaching staff.

While his mind has been on becoming a leader for his high school team, the Cyclones’ 2017 results have not been lost on Campbell.

In addition to ISU, Campbell has offers from Iowa and Northern Iowa. He didn’t list a favorite among the trio, but says he likes what he’s seen of the program Matt Campbell is building.

For more on Campbell's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
