ISU game day offer special for in-state LB

Earlier this month, a Class of 2019 recruit from eastern Iowa collected his first offer of the recruiting process from the Cyclones prior to the season opener against Northern Iowa.

Iowa City West junior Cole Mabry said he got to speak with ISU head coach Matt Campbell prior to the game to hear the news of his offer.

During his team’s 5-0 start to the season, Mabry has collected 19 tackles, including three tackles-for-loss, and one interception. In addition to ISU, the junior said he’s gotten some recent interest from Notre Dame.

In addition to the Cyclones, Mabry said he's getting recruiting interest from Iowa.
