Iowa State gets commitment from Chicago big man Conditt

Iowa State picked up its third 2018 basketball recruiting verbal commitment of the fall on Monday as Chicago (Ill.) Corliss 4/5 man George Conditt announced his decision via twitter.

Conditt, a 6-foot-9 prospect that emerged as a legitimate high major target during the summer evaluation period, chose Iowa State from a short list of three finalists that also included Illinois and New Mexico. He took official visits to all three schools in the month of September, beginning with ISU on the weekend of Sept. 1-3 that included the Iowa State-UNI football game in Ames.

Earlier this month, I-State picked up verbal commitments from Hinsdale (Ill.) wing Zion Griffin and Oshkosh (Wisc.) guard Tyrese Haliburton.
