Iowa St. a contender for 4-star WR

After offering a scholarship last spring, the Cyclones have continued to keep tabs on a four-star wide receiver from the state of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma City Millwood junior Demariyon Houston has had Iowa State on his radar since getting an offer from assistant coach Alex Golesh last May.

Houston is the 144th-ranked player nationally and second overall in the state of Oklahoma for the Class of 2018. He’s also the 26th wide receiver in Rivals’ most recent rankings.

It’s a crowded pack of schools for the 6-foot-0, 165-pound Houston, who also claims Power-5 offers from Colorado, Kansas, Ole Miss, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.

For more on Houston's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
