In-stater expects more ISU interest

The Cyclone coaching staff is keeping tabs on an in-state junior from central Iowa that helped lead his team deep into the Class 1A playoffs this past season.

Van Meter Class of 2018 offensive guard Sean Boles feels like his interest will pick up in the coming months once this year’s crop of newcomers has been signed.

The 6-foot-6, 305-pound Boles has been blown away by everything the Cyclone program has to offer during his prior trips to Ames on game-day visits and a couple Junior Days last winter.

Boles currently has offers from Yale, Penn and Dartmouth. In addition to the interest he’s received from the Cyclones, he’s also hearing from Iowa, Vanderbilt, Brown, Columbia and Princeton.

For more on Boles' recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
