In-state soph visits, receives offer

After hosting the recruit on a game day visit last Saturday, head coach Matt Campbell extended an offer to a Class of 2019 offensive lineman from central Iowa.

Norwalk sophomore Tyler Endres made a game day visit to Ames for the Kansas State game, and said he was surprised at the news he received prior to kickoff.

Sharpening up one facet of his game this fall, Endres said, helped him become a much better offensive lineman on a Norwalk team that made the Class 3A playoffs.

Especially now that he’s received an offer from the coaching staff, Endres said he’s planning more unofficial visits for the future and will participate in a summer camp in 2017.
