In-state OL Remsburg recaps ISU visit

The Cyclones offered a central Iowa offensive lineman earlier this fall and got the opportunity to host the prospect on a game-day visit last weekend.

West Des Moines Valley junior Jake Remsburg, whose lone offer is from Iowa State, said he enjoyed being a part of the Jack Trice Stadium crowd.

The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Remsburg arrived around three hours before kickoff on Saturday and spent some quality time with coaches. He also spoke briefly with a current ISU offensive lineman that attended his high school.

Still in the early stages of his recruitment, Remsburg has started taking game day visits. He traveled to Iowa in mid-October and says he’ll take in the Nebraska/Northwestern game tomorrow in Lincoln. Remsburg has an invite to the Cyclones’ final home game on November 11, but has yet to decide if he’ll attend.

For more on Remsburg's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
