I-State camp trip impacts Ill. DT

A Chicagoland defensive tackle in the Class of 2018 is considering an accelerating his commitment timeline after making an unofficial visit to Iowa State over the weekend.

LaGrange Park Nazareth Academy’s Isaiah Lee said he was happy to finally cross paths with the coaches who were the first to offer him a P5 scholarship.

Lee, who worked extensively with defensive line coach Eli Rasheed during last Saturday's Big Man Camp in Ames, remains grateful for the attention from the Cyclones, saying that the offer he was extended and the weekend visit has him thinking hard about the recruiting process.

Given that he now has one P5 offer to go along with several in the G5 ranks like Ball State, Central Michigan and Colorado State, Lee is weighing a possible decision in the coming weeks.
