Houston DE weighing Cyclone offer

Getting his first offer of any kind from a Power-5 program was big news to a defensive end from the Lone Star State, who heard from Iowa State earlier this month.

Houston Langham Creek junior defensive end Chidi Ogbannaya is one of two defenders from the high school to get offers from the Cyclones.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive end said he liked what he’s heard from position coach Eli Rasheed, who has spearheaded the recruitment of himself and Dondrick Collins.

The defensive end said he would like to take a trip to Ames in the coming months.

Rasheed has made it clear that he’d like both Langham Creek standouts to join I-State in the Class of 2017.
