Holiday to bring 3-star to ISU, Iowa

Iowa State is in hot pursuit of a three-star Alabama high school linebacker that has family ties to the state of Iowa.

Killen Brooks junior Colin Anderson has several Power-5 offers to his name, including both Iowa State and Iowa, and is planning on unofficial visits to both schools in the coming weeks.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Anderson also has P5 offers from the likes of Arkansas, California, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Wake Forest

Assistant coach Tyson Veidt has spearheaded Anderson’s recruitment, with Campbell also playing a heavy role. During their recruiting efforts, the Cyclone coaches have certainly focused on Anderson’s history in the state of Iowa and the fact he still has family there.

For more on Anderson's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
