Hafiz hits reset; I-State visit next

Of the several recruits that will be on campus this weekend, not many have as many offers as a three-star prospect from the state of Florida.

Jacksonville Sandalwood defensive back Quran Hafiz has more than 30 offers in all and has included in two recent finalist lists, but this will be the first time he'll be in Ames for a visit.

Hafiz says the coaching staff has said he'd be a solid fit to what's shaping up to be a banner 2017 crop of newcomers for the Cyclones. The 6-foot-0, 170-pound Hafiz had appeared set on committing via social media earlier this month, but decided against it and will take more visits to schools he's seriously considering.
