Hafiz enters homestretch with I-State in his top four

Perhaps the top high school cornerback prospect remaining on Iowa State's wish list was on campus over the weekend for his official visit and took in the team's game against West Virginia.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood standout cornerback Quran Hafiz, who was once committed to the Cyclones before re-opening his recruitment early in his senior season, was the lone official visitor for the weekend.

The 6-foot-0, 170-pound Hafiz said he particularly enjoyed the meetings with assistants and the leader of the I-State program Matt Campbell.

The three-star Class of 2017 standout previously released a list of his schools and that group included ISU, Nebraska, Illinois and Indiana.
