Habben is a 6-foot-5, 270-pounder who collected multiple Division I offers. He has taken four official visits and those schools comprise his most recent top four: Arizona State, Iowa State, Washington and Washington State. Habben said back on Dec. 10 that of that group, ASU, ISU and UW were the most on his mind.
Habben lives in the Seattle area and is teammates with the son of Washington head coach Ty Willingham. He also has close ties to Iowa State with many relatives in Iowa and a brother who plays baseball at Buena Vista Univ. in Storm Lake. Habben's parents are Iowa natives.
CycloneReport.com and Rivals will have on-the-spot coverage of Habben's announcement on Wednesday.
