Game day visit possible for Ariz. DB

In addition to the one he has with a current player on the Iowa State roster, a JUCO defensive back from the southwest said he's developing relationships with much of the current coaching staff.

Arizona Western’s Keisean Nixon said he’s had steady contact with the Cyclones since receiving his offer and that’s picked up throughout the spring evaluation period with Campbell’s interest. That's in addition to his friendship with current ISU defensive back D'Andre Payne, who signed in December out of Arizona Western.

Nixon, a true freshman who joined the Arizona Western program last fall out of Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian High School, said he’s on track to graduate in December and would have three years to play two.

In addition to the Cyclones, Nixon has Power-5 offers from California and Kansas State.

For more on Nixon's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
