Frosh Bollers ready for another I-State visit

An early offer to a defensive end from an Iowa high school will get the Cyclones a second unofficial in three months from the prospect.

Clear Creek-Amana freshman TJ Bollers, who also visited for the TCU game this fall, was excited to find out the news of his offer from assistant coach Tyson Veidt earlier this month.

Veidt has actually made the trek to Clear Creek Amana twice, returning this week with another coach. While in town on Monday, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Bollers booked a trip to Ames for tomorrow.

Bollers, who earned a 4.0 GPA in his first semester of high school, also has early interest from Iowa, Michigan and Stanford. As a freshman, he recorded 15.5 tackles, including three tackles-for-loss, and three sacks.
