Fla. WR primed for I-State visit

Iowa State will host a borderline four-star wide receiver this weekend when a Class of 2018 wide receiver from Florida makes his way to Ames for an official visit.

South Fort Myers senior Jeshaun Jones, who is presently a three-star recruit with a 5.7 Rivals rating, says he’s taken notice of the Cyclones, and not just because of their recent upset victory over third-ranked Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Jones has several offers from P5 programs, including Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.

Jones has already taken one official visit, which was to Tennessee the weekend of September 30th. He’ll also head to Maryland the weekend of November 11th. He said he’ll know more about how he’ll rank all of his schools next week.

For more on Jones' recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
