Ejim is first to sign with Cyclones
Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy small forward Melvin Ejim has signed his national letter of intent with Iowa State. Ejim became the first of perhaps three Class of 2010 men's basketball prospects who will sign with ISU in the coming days.
The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Ejim verbally committed to the Cyclones in late August of this year. A native of Toronto, Canada, Ejim also had scholarship offers from Boston College, Butler, George Washington, Old Dominion, Providence, Rhode Island, Xavier and others.
Ejim told CycloneReport.com earlier this week that he planned to sign with Iowa State in the morning on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. And he followed through with those plans, signing a short time ago and announcing it on his Facebook page.
