Early Signing Day: Four teed up for ISU

Four mid-year junior college graduates are expected to sign football national letters of intent with Iowa State today, the first day to do so.
Leading the way is four-star cornerback Anthony Young, ranked as the no. 25 JUCO prospect in the nation by Rivals.com. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound Young is a California native who has played the last two seasons at Palomar Community College in San Marcos, Calif. He was also offered by Arizona State and a number of non-BCS schools.

Also saying they plan to sign with ISU today are:
Jon Caspers, OL, 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, Wahpeton (N.D.) North Dakota State College of Science
Ricky Howard, TE, 6-foot-5, 255 pounds, Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Chaffey Community College
Rony Nelson, DE. 6-foot-2, 250 pounds, Marysville (Calif.) Yuba Community College
Both Caspers and Howard are rated as three-star prospects while Nelson has yet to be evaluated by Rivals.com.
