Duggan is early 2019 QB offer

The Cyclones liked what they saw out of an in-state sophomore quarterback this fall and decided to offer the Class of 2019 prospect during an unofficial visit last weekend prior to the Texas Tech game.

Council Bluffs Lewis Central Class of 2019 quarterback Max Duggan took in the Texas Tech game along with his parents. It was his second unofficial visit of the fall to Ames, as he was also on hand for the Kansas State game.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Duggan said he received plenty of positive feedback from the ISU head coach on why the program had decided to offer him so early in the process. In addition to the Cyclones, Duggan also has offers from Iowa and South Dakota State.

It was a memorable sophomore season for Duggan, who led his team to the playoffs for a second-consecutive season. He completed 108-of-174 passes for 1,651 yards and 15 touchdowns to go with five interceptions. The dual-threat quarterback also rushed 114 times for 592 yards and 14 scores.
