Cyclones top three for DL Mallory

Getting an Illinois prep defensive tackle on campus in the coming weeks may be enough to put the Cyclones in front for the Class of 2018 prospect.

Bolingbrook standout Dashaun Mallory had been planning to head to Ames last month, but was unable to visit. He hopes to get there this summer for the first time.

The 6-foot-3, 272-pound Mallory has been pursued heavily by the Cyclones, who would like nothing better than to add the big man to their 2018 class. His lead recruiters have been assistants Alex Golesh and Eli Rasheed.

With the early signing period going into effect this year, Mallory said his plan is to make a commitment prior to his senior season.
