Cyclones surprise ATH with defensive offer

The Cyclones are competing against an SEC program early for a Class of 2018 prospect from the Chicagoland whose profile is rising in recent months.

Aurora Waubonsie Valley junior Charles Robinson took in a Junior Day at Iowa State on February 25th and said the entire experience improved his opinion of the program and school itself.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Robinson, who also has offers from Mississippi State and New Mexico, has also received Power-5 interest from Illinois, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue and Wisconsin.

He is planning spring practice visits to Notre Dame and Wisconsin, along with a return trip to ISU.
