Cyclones see prep PF on Tuesday

Iowa State was in the house in Putnam, Connecticut, Tuesday night to continue its evaluation of a 2017 prep school power forward.

Alexis Yetna is a 6-foot-7, 205-pound native of France that is spending the year at Putnam Science Academy. ISU assistant coach Neill Berry was on hand to watch Yetna play on Tuesday.

Iowa State offered Yetna, who played at Mount Zion Academy in Maryland last year, in late December after several months of evaluation. The Cyclones are not alone in their pursuit of Yetna, who has a double-digit offer list.

Putnam Science Academy head coach Thomas Espinoza said that Yetna does not have any official visits scheduled yet, but will soon as he intends to sign in April.

Georgia and Pitt are other high majors that have reportedly offered Yetna. He also claims a number of notable mid-major offers, such as Cincinnati, New Mexico and Temple.
