Cyclones in close contact with JUCO defender
A JUCO defender that took an official visit to Iowa State this summer is close to resuming his process of taking trips and could soon be closing in on a decision.
Arizona Western three-star Azur Kamara visited ISU and Louisville during a one-week span in July, and has yet to take any more during his sophomore season.
The Power-5 offers have piled up for Kamara. In addition to I-State and Louisville, he has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Florida State, Kansas, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah and Washington State.
Kamara said he’s encouraged by the direction the ISU program is headed, and sees that he could play a big role on the defense if he joins the program for 2018.
