Constant contact for flex TE & I-State

The Cyclones became the first program of any kind of offer a Chicago (Ill.) tight end prospect a scholarship last season, and the coaching staff may be on the verge of getting an unofficial visit in the coming weeks.

Chicago Marist three-star recruit T.J. Ivy, who has a 5.5 Rivals rating and is the 18th-ranked player in his state for the Class of 2018, has gone on to pick up Power-5 offers from the likes of Indiana, Purdue, Syracuse and West Virginia.

The 6-foot-5, 217-pound Ivy has remained in steady contact in the months since his offer, and is now talking about an unofficial visit to Ames in the coming weeks.

Although his list of offers has continued to increase, Ivy appears nowhere near announcing favorites or top schools, but says the Cyclones are in the upper echelon.

For more on Ivy's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
