Commit Morton goes to Akron to see Cyclones

Although it was a road game this past weekend, Iowa State saw one of its commitments in the stands following its second win of the 2017 season.

Detroit (Mich.) Martin Luther King’s Jaeveyon Morton made the three-plus hour drive from his home to see the Cyclones win their second game of the season.

A three-star recruit with a 5.7 Rivals rating, the 5-foot-8, 169-pound Morton chose the Cyclones this summer over Power-5 offers from Iowa, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.
