Minneapolis (Minn.) Robbinsdale Cooper High School is certainly within the four-hour circle Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell has focused his staff’s recruiting efforts on, and one of the program’s offensive linemen recently picked up an offer.

Class of 2017 prospect Eric Abojei said he got the message from his high school coach earlier this week. I-State joins Minnesota as Power-5 schools that have offered the big man.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Abojei said the Cyclones had been one of the programs with heavy interest prior to making the offer. Michigan and Wisconsin have also been recruiting him.

Abojei said he likes what he’s seen of the Cyclones both on and off the field.
