Iowa State would very much like to get a Georgia prep offensive lineman back into the fold for the Class of 2017, but will likely have to wait until this winter to get a final decision.

Jefferson (Ga.) senior Caleb Chandler said the next step in the process is to take an official visit to ames, but he hasn't totally settled on a date yet. Although the news of the 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive lineman's de-commitment was certainly not what the coaching staff wanted to hear, it hasn't had a negative effect on his recruitment.

Miami, Florida, Mississippi State, Louisville and Iowa State appear to have the inside track at landing Chandler's five official visits.
