Iowa State put its best foot forward with a Missouri high school offensive lineman this weekend, trying to land the three-star recruit to solidify the future of the offensive line under position coach Tom Manning.

Webb City offensive guard Trystan Castillo returned home from Ames with plenty of positives to say about his experience, most notably about the national offensive line coach of the year in 2015.

Academics and the campus life at I-State also appear to be a good fit for Castillo.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Castillo is now scheduled to take an official visit to Missouri next weekend and should have a decision made soon after that with a date already picked to make the call.
