Campbell makes the offer to DT

Head coach Matt Campbell likes the potential of a Class of 2018 defensive lineman so much that he personally offered and has recruited the prospect himself.

Sidney (Ohio) junior Devan Rogers said head coach Matt Campbell was in touch recently with an offer in hand. The 6-foot-1, 285-pound Rogers is a three-star recruit by Rivals and already has offers from the likes of Rutgers and Bowling Green.

Since pulling in the offer from the Cyclones, Rogers said he’s gotten plenty of attention from the coaching staff.

In addition to his three offers, Rogers has gotten interest from Notre Dame, Purdue, Toledo and Ohio.
