Campbell reflects on latest I-State experience

A rising junior prospect with offers from Iowa State, Iowa and Northern Iowa, took an unofficial visit to Ames on Saturday and participated in the Saturday Night Lights camp.

Cedar Falls rising junior Jack Campbell said he enjoyed the whole experience and attention giving to he and his mother by the coaching staff.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Campbell met with the Cyclones’ head coach and other staffers, and got some good feedback. On the field, he worked with different groups of players throughout the day, but seemed to get showcased more with the linebackers as opposed to defensive linemen. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Class of 2019 prospect said his future position is still up in the air.

In addition to his in-state offers, Campbell said he’s hearing from Minnesota, Penn State and North Dakota State. Given the fact he won’t be signing until the Class of 2019, he’s not in any hurry to make a decision.
