Cali RB still looking at Iowa State

Iowa State is heavily pursuing a talented California running back that's committed to a Pac-12 program and Matt Campbell's staff hopes to land the Class of 2017 prospect on an official visit.

Mountain View St. Francis rusher Cyrus Habibi-Likio said he’s been in contact with multiple Cyclone coaches and they’ve helped keep the program in the running for several months now.

Since he’s been recruited by I-State for several months, Habibi-Likio has had plenty of time to get familiar with the program. Cyclone coaches would like to share all of that with Habibi-Likio first-hand and the senior recruit is evaluating possible visit dates.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Habibi-Likio rushed for 1,438 yards and 17 touchdowns during his junior season and added a pair of scores as a receiver. In addition to Iowa State, Washington State, Utah, he also has FBS offers from BYU, Hawaii, New Mexico, San Jose State, UNLV and Wyoming.

For more on Habibi-Likio's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
