Bailey reaffirms I-State commitment

Although Iowa State lost one Mississippi recruit in the Class of 2017 last week when Kam White de-committed, the coaching staff was excited to have another long-time pledge from the state in town for an official visit over the weekend.

Clarksdale senior defender Cordarrius Bailey was one of 11 members of Iowa State’s 2017 recruiting class on hand over the weekend and said he enjoyed his time in Ames.

The I-State coaches have made sure to sell Bailey on some big opportunities he could have on the defensive side of the ball.

The official visit wrapped up with breakfast at Matt Campbell’s house, where Bailey had a heart-to-heart with the head coach on where he is in the recruiting process.
