Athletic OL analyzes Iowa State offer

A recent offer recipient from a high school in the Chicagoland area says he's taken notice of Iowa State's 2017 season and is looking forward to learning more about the program in the coming months.

Algonquin (Ill.) Jacobs junior Joacheim Price, who said the Cyclones liked what he brought to the table in his secondary sport and became one of three Power-5 offers to date for the prospect, watched the team upset Oklahoma this past fall.

The 6-foot-8, 315-pound Price has picked up offers from ISU, Minnesota and Illinois, in addition to MAC school Northern Illinois. He says his work on and off the field has encouraged programs to pick up on his recruiting trail.

The offensive lineman hopes to make his way to Ames in the near future to discover more about what ISU has to offer.

For more on Price's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
