Athletic DL has I-State in top 10

After handing the defensive line recruit an offer in mid-May, Iowa State has made a list of 10 favorites for a Florida high school prospect that will sign in the Class of 2017.

Tallahassee Godby’s Antwan Owens picked up an offer from the Cyclones in mid-May, which he recently included in his list of 10 favorites. An unofficial visit also could potentially be in the works for the 6-foot-4, 286-pound junior.

I-State was listed alongwith UCF, Mississippi State, USF, Kentucky, Maryland, Indiana, Tulane, East Carolina and Purdue in Owens' list of 10 favorites.

Since picking up an offer from ISU, Owens has done his research on what the program has to offer on and off the field.
