ATH Hicks has I-State visit booked

Iowa State will host a south Florida defensive back on an official visit during the weekend of the Kansas State game later this month.

Pembroke Pines Flanagan defensive back Faion Hicks reports that he'll be headed to Ames. The Class of 2017 cornerback picked up an offer from I-State earlier this season and his relationship with the program has strengthened.

Hicks also has a Power-5 offer from Illinois to go with FBS schools Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, Southern Miss, South Florida, Toledo, UCF, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan.

The south Florida defensive back has put together a strong senior season with two interceptions and nine pass breakups. Hicks said he has yet to allow a reception on his side this season.
